Idle Problem, engine seems to choke and RPM jumps back up???
Hi everyone... something weird happening with my car.. wondering if anyone could help troubleshoot so I know where to start looking...
ok did an oil change 2 days ago.. I think I topped it too much at 5.5 quarts...I overdid it I know!!! anyhow I'm taking the extra out today...
but car is driving weird...this morning...when car is cold.. driving... after I rev the car... the RPM drops down to 100RPM... then seems like it's choking and it jumps back to 400RPM.....does that for a while until after 15 mins of driving and it seems fine again?/? this never happened again... any ideas? could it be the spark plugs/fuel/battery.... I notice the batttery was acting up when I had it on for 30 mins playing music when I was changing the oil, and it just wouldn't start up so I had to jump start it....
thanks for the help guys!!!

Whack that MAP sensor!!!
Theres a common solution out there to this issue. Search for "MAP sensor" and you'll get the details.
Also, check your air filter. If its choked, that can't help.
If all else fails, it is a warranty item - even under the Honda extended program. So, take it in.
Good Luck,
Hockey
