Hello people. First time on this board. I'm looking into buying a S2000 really soon, so I visited my local dealer today. But I found out that I can barely fit in it (6 ft. 1). I have a question: Is the steering wheel adjustable? Because I can sit in it but the steering wheel rests on my leg. The sales couldn't find a lever or anything. Is the steering wheel fixed? What can I do?
thank you! Other than the steering wheel the car seems fine to me!

The steering column is fixed. I know it's hard to believe that $AUD75K car has a fixed steering column, and a $AUD15K Hyundai Accent is adjustable, but that's the way it is.
That said, there are plenty of 6 foot and over ownerson this board. maybe they can share their experiences.
If I were too tall (I'm 5'10") I'd probably have my legs shortened.

hmmm..i'm 6ft...(give or take a 1/2 inch)......i'm pretty averagely pre-portioned and have no problem. However, the first time i got in one (at the dealer)i did feel that there was little space for my legs. 1)Take off your jacket/sweater. 2)Wear a comfortable pair of Jeans. 3)Call your bank/dad/401k broker, get the cash, make the deal. 4)You'll forget you ever posted this.

I'm 6'3" and 240lbs. I fit fine, and am very comfortable in the car. I recline the seat for better view through the windshield and I still have ample legroom. To get a little better vision, I removed the visors. The seat is actually perfect for my body -- very comfortable, but keeps me in place during turns.
I should note that I never have the top up except when washing the car.
I made the same comments about not fitting into the Boxster and Z3 when I sat in them at dealerships. I am sure that if you actually drive one, you will see that it isn't a problem.
