a 1.8litre 200hp four banger? hmmm, lets see, I'm sure you could, with custom engine mounts, custom exhaust, not to mention the custom bellhousing made to mount that engine to our tranny. too much work for an innovative engine that will yield less than what we currently have.

The Monster Miatas have a Chevy 305 stuffed in them, so I guess anything's possible. It's just a question of whether the end result is worth the time, effort and cost.

Doh! Yeah, I'll admit I'm not very well versed in American V8s. Nor Monster Miatas, I guess.
My turn, though - the new iVTEC engine in the RSX is a 2.0, not 1.8.
