I think I know why Honda choose to bring Sebring sliver and Suzuka blue to US in 02!!

I liked that color. Seems to be the hot color in the import scene right now to. I see all kinds of civics and Integras running around in those cloths. Wait a minute....thats not a very good defence is it? oh well. I miss my pimp daddy gold CL-S. I want another one, I'm thinking about getting an Aegean Blue 6 speed type-S now. That is a BEAUTIFUL color.

The colors popular in Japan are the least popular here, for example, white. Very different tastes.

The reason those colours are the top three is that Sebring and Suzuka are the new S2000 colours and GP is Japan's racing colour.
Fashion, in all it's forms, seems to have less to do with people's actual taste and more to do with being noticed. I bet if Monte Carlo Blue was available from day one in the US you guys wouldn't be so fanatical about it. It was available here from day one and accounts for about 8% of ownership in the Honda Sports Car Club.
