I'm actually considering picking up something like an '06 TSX to replace my '94 Integra as my daily. Its between that or a newer Honda Fit.

^^^^ I'd highly recommend checking out a civic 4 door. I got rid of my S about 2 years ago, and am looking at picking a newer one up in the next 6 months or so, but in the mean time, I bought a civic lx. No it doesn't have any bells and whistles, and yes it's a measly 140 hp. But it's the easiest, most care free car i've ever owned (i've owned 11 cars). It gets great gas mileage, 87 octane, and it's just so simple to drive. The newer ones 06+, have much better suspension than older civics. I think they compete with the german cars a little better, as you feel like it's a much safer car now... the fit is just damn ugly, and you would prob be getting a tsx with alot of miles...test drive a civic!

ha! I wanted an s2k so badly after graduating college, that i took a stupid loan, on an '04 with 60k miles on it. Before I knew it, i had 75,000 miles on it and still owed $18,000! I traded it in for a GTI, which wasn't bad, I chipped it, downpipe, exhaust, but I always had in the back of my mind that it was going to break down, or have some sort of issues. So now, I traded in the gti for 15,000, and i owed 19,000, flipped it into a 24 month lease on a civic, and then i will be back to square one!!! It's been a long road to fix a stupid financial decision, but I will finally have some options pretty soon. I think I will lease a civic as a dd, and pick up an S2k, or buy out the civic that i'm currently leasing at the end of the term, and buy an S... I've been doing a lot of searching for all kinds of cars, and hondas are just so simple and reliable and fun to drive. Once I can get a dd and the S as a second car, I will be done for a long while

Pick up another S for cheap and keep the TSX as a daily. I too have both and really wouldn't want to give up either one. I find to K24 to be one of the best engines out there. I'm done building my 04 TSX and I am very happy with it. Now I'd like to get started on the S. I just don't know what direction I want to take it. Good luck though.

anyway, keep your cars, drive safe, and don't do what i did! keep the S2000 as a weekend car and buy a used Accord as a DD/beater.
Good advice! After moving from s2000s to a ridgeline and then a civic si I could not stand it anymore and grabbed an s2k to keep as a second car while I could still find a nice one. These cars are not about to get any easier to find

I had an AP1 which I sold for an e46. Instantly regretted it and was back in an s2000 in 6 months. I'm not getting rid of the s2000 anytime soon, unless it's for a newer/lower mileage S, or 370z/Elise. I just picked up an 05 TSX daily driver a few weeks ago. It's really nice for what it is, but I absolutely can not imagine selling my S for the TSX.

The major issue I found with Acura )or BMW, Lexus, Benz, Infiniti) is the high maintenance cost (drop it for maintenance to an Acura dealer and you'll see what I mean). You autiomatically get charged higher price to maintain the car just because.....>>> it is an Acura
We used to have the 2004 TSX. Great car, but I tell you this: THE CIVIC SI IS BUILT BETTER, it feels more stable in terms of quality than the TSX was.
And it's a Honda, much cheaper to maintain

Just my 2c.
