well I overnight'd my rick's black/silver badges and got them in today. I removed the plastic clips from the trunk and had some paint left over aroudn teh whole which was unable to come off with simply scraping at it with my nail. I didn't think it was necessary to get a flat head screw driver or some other tool to pick at the paint concidering i didnt want to flake any other parts off or just screw it up in general... so I put the front badge on. BEAUTIFUl.... i went to put the rear on.. NOOOOOOOOO the two slight circle imprints are showing through the badge..... what can I do.. the badges are now firmly on the car and theyve only been on for 15 minutes or so.. i was oooo happy with them also....... thanks rick and the rest of your staff for getting the badges out so quickly they looked beautiful .....

Reedz, what was the resolution to Blk01S2k's rear badge problem? I ended up with imperfections on my rear badge as a result of the holes in my trunk lid having slight "out-ding" indentations (I think from pulling the plastic plugs out after removing the stock badge). I can live with the imperfection, but if there was some useful advise to fix it, I'd love to know.
Thanks!
Thanks!

I don't think we can fix it. The chrome around the S area is bent and nothing will fix that. If you look hard enough, you'll see a circle imprint. I did this on my front badge and learned better for the rear. I even tried to push it out a bit from underneth the holes but that didn't do much good.
This should be placed on the FAQ or added to the instructions of not pushing down on the area where the holes are too firmly when trying to adhere the badge to the surface.

Well James did mail me back and we worked out an agreement on replacing the rear badge. There is nothing you can do too fix the problem because of the reason that Former H22A4 stated. The foil is dented and thats not fixable.
