yea i feel sorry for you guys with the pre 04's...the gas guage is much improved. i have never ran out of gas but i did run out of bars on the car and then had to drive about 5 miles...i got gas and only put in about 11.5 gallons.
i would say that if you put in 13 gallons of gas you were running on fumes...the tank is only 13.2 i think. .2 gallons left...that's about a big gulp full of gas in your car

I never even think about gassing up until the warning light comes on. Of course on the '04 the last three bars on the gage all go out within about 5 miles or less...
