I love your cars
Hey, everyone i don't own an s2000, i almost bought one last summer but ended up finding buying an mr2 spyder instead. i love the mr2 but i come here all the time to check out what you guys are doing with your s2's. I really love the look of the s2 and the thing I love the most is hole idea that its basically a race car built for the road 9k redline, v tec, electronic steering, all that crazy stuff lol. My mr2 is quick but you guys have 100 more horses which is pretty nice. But yah I love my mr2 and plan on keeping it for a long time. I

Thanks for the compliments I REALLY like the MR spyder, but one thing that REALLY got to me about it is the fact that it doesnt have a power top I know its not a hassle or anything, but I think its just pimpier when you can do it with just the button.
Other than that I think the car is awesome. ESPECIALLY the one with the SMG like transmission... I wouldn't mind having that as a daily driver

Greg, I think you're doing the right thing by not owning an S2k at 18. I remember when I was 18 and I surely wasn't ready for the responsibility. You're Mr2 may have 100 less hp but it's still a great car for an 18 year old. Just think how cheap an s2k will be will you are ready to buy one!

Greg,
Thanks for your honesty and candid attitude.
Not everyone here is critical of young drivers. We are critical towards irresponsible people in general.
Anyways, I have to say I like MR-2 spyder as well. In Europe they offer S version which basically has GT-S engine that is being used in Elise in it. The car is lightweight and along with 180hp engine, it will be so much fun to drive. Not to mention, the engine is in right place and neither front or rear suspension has to fight against engine weight.
Enjoy your ride!

One of my friends drives a black MR2. Very nice car (some say it has a love it or hate it exterior design, and I happen to love it). He's engine failed on him though, so he's in the process of putting in a 2ZZ (I think that's what he called it - the Celica GTS engine).
