I just got my Voodoo Titanium knob...
From Magnum Pearl Aluminum, I just switched to their regular polished Titanium knob, and I must say the difference is amazing. The extra weight of the knob, which seems minimal when comparing in my hands, is evident while you are shifting. I had notchy shifts regardless of what gear I went into with the regular aluminum knob. But it is MUCH smoother with the Ti knob.
I was hesitant to spend the extra money on the titanium, but I thought it could be a remedy for my notchy gearbox. Sure enough, so far things are much better. It is super shiny too
Just thought this might be helpful for those who don't know what to get. But you still can't go wrong with just 30 bucks with the regular knob.

Last January I bought a magnum pearl aluminum. It was nice as far as the shape and lowered height from the countersink, but it was lighter than the stock knob which actually made the synchro notchyness worse and made the shifts even more vague. After three weeks I bit the bullet and bought a magnum polished TI and there has been no looking back. It was a definite improvement providing more solid, positive engagements with reduced feel of the synchros. One thing I did do was to take it to a local powder coater and had him give it a nice coat of gloss black for $20 that looks sweet in the car. The polished knob always looked dirty and I just wasn't into the "Ball Bearing" look anyway. And the feel of the bare metal just wasn't as nice either. It sounds weird and it's hard to explain but the powder coat gives it a real nice feel in the hand and the thin coating also helps a bit thermally, taking the edge off the hot and cold. It's perfect now, I love it .
