When I was at Townsend leather last week, they gave me a batch of yellow leather samples that appear to be close to a perfect match for the yellow S2K. I'd be happy to send the sample to a volunteer for a match.

Do we have enough people interested in yellow leather to make some yellow shift boots or console covers? It's not my taste, but if enough of you guys with yellows are interested, we can do it.

 

I don't know about the center console or shifter but I think that maybe the steering wheel and door panels might look good with some yellow.

 

I agree. Just an accent. Maybe a black/yellow combo boot, too.

 

I dunno, the Yellow exterior is so bright and expansive, I'd bet that a whole center console in yellow would help to break up all that black and would also help to tie in the two extreme colors.

My vote would be for a complete center console and a mixed shift boot. The steering wheel cover could get dirty too often for me.

actually I have rick's black leather console cover and shift boot, both with yellow stitching. It looks great. The sticthing isn't as bold as I thought it would be, but still gives a good accent. If you'd like both of these, I'm willing to part with them for the cost of replacements. Why am I selling? Well, I am getting a red/black s2k instead of the yellow/black.

So who wants the yellow leather sample to match against the car? It's a 4x4 inch single piece of leather. Against the paint swatch I have it looks almost dead on, but I know those things can be misleading.
