Good post Mav, That is a sad situation and a perfect example of buyer beware.
Someone in the thread suggested buying a used vehicle that is Certified by a Honda dealer, this is probably the safest way to go if you can't buy brand new. I'm told that once a car is certified, the dealer must disclose any accident history as part of the process or else it can come back to haunt them if you discover different. Good Luck
