Default I found a deal that seems to good to be true..

2000 Red with black interior
with 11k on the odometer
Appears to be in good shape from the only pic I have available right now.
And asking price is 23 and change..
Seems cheap to me..
But if there is nothing wrong with the car I would hate to pass it up..

sounds about right to me. Plenty of used MY00 have sold in the mid 20's range. Remember 03s are around the corner and in the NEs it's not uncommon to find new 02s for 30k.

heres some advice from someone who's been screwed. take it to the honda dealer if thats not where its at and get them to certify it. i wanted my car so bad that i bought the cheapest one i found. the car looked absolutely perfect so i took the deal. turns out i had to have some warranty work done however honda told me the car had been wrecked and they wouldn't do any work to it. honda will know for sure if it is or not. apparently by law all replacement parts must be marked somewhere on the part to let them know. be sure when you check the car out, test the horn to see if it works and make sure the srs light isn't on. if those two dont work its a pretty good sign that the airbag has been deployed. get a carfax as well, they are less than 20 bucks but well worth the money.

That price is way too low, MY 00 with that mileage should sell for about $28k on a private sale where the seller is motivated. There are many dealers across the country still asking over $30k for a MY 00 in perfect shape. Do a search on www.autotrader.com for an idea. If the seller was desperate, it may go for $26k. Do your homework on this one.

I would have it checked out. But in the same thought I paid $29,900 for a brand new off the truck '02. so that sounds like a good price for a used one. Check it out might be worth it.

Hey Monster, I'm on audiworld also

23 is a great deal, as long as it wasn't in an accident. A friend of mine works at a dealer, and some of the S2000 come through the dealer auctions at about that price with only 2000 miles on them or so, for whatever thats worth. I'd just get it checked out if it was anywhere close. Good luck. You need one of these cars

A bit of advice from someone who just traded in his crashed car...

CarFax isn't 100%. My accident still has not shown up yet. The Honda Dealer isn't 100%. In fact, my dealer is reselling my used and crashed 01 for $31K and NOT telling people that it was wrecked. Since it's not on CarFax, they don't have any obligation to say it.

My advice is that if you can afford it, buy new. In most cases, its only a few K more.
