I enjoyed the book but I thought it was really fluffy. I learned more interesting "inside stuff" in a magazine article about the C5.

I just finished mine today. The only part about the book that I didn't like was in the "S2000 Competitors" (ch.7) where he made the Boxster S seem superior over the S2000.

Well, I'd have to say that the Boxter S is a superior car to ours. Higher horsepower by a touch (250 vs. 240), significantly higher torque (225 vs 153). Not as hard to drive fast, and the handling is at least comparable to, if not better than, the s2000. The only place where we've got it beat is on price. Granted that we could get 2 s2000s for a decently equipped Boxter S, but we can only drive one at a time...

Just finished my copy. Enjoyed it much. Much better than the one Honda is selling (although that one is nice as well).

I loved the concept drawings. Man what I'd give for a production car to have a coclpit like some of those. Especially the one on page 45. They say they can't build a production car like this because there would be no interior room in it. Heck I didn't buy this car for interior room. I bought it for performance. Give me the cockpit!!!

I knew the car was racing inspired but I had know idea how much racing technology is actually in the car. This is covered really well in the book.

Very enjoyable. I suggest it to everybody. I'll even make it easy on you:
