After joining this site about 3 years ago, and lurking this forum and reading, dreaming, squirming, sweating and everything else. I finally went (Saturday)and bought a new 04, GPW.

I havent been here everyday, but have visited on a regular basis. Never asked many questions because most everything already gets covered here.

I just wanted to thank everyone here for their posts and helpful info.

dang, i thought i was the oldest one here that finally got one. it's weird, i joined when looking for a car and finally decided on an '03 bmw(year ago) then finally broke down and got an '04 s2k. no regrets.

Sorry man. I bought an 2000 accord in November 1999, the S had just came out, they had a Shiny red one sitting in the showroom then. I knew about the S then but not much, I looked at the price and bought the accord which was what I was looking for anyway. I can't remember if they had it marked up then or not.

About late April 2000 I started reading more about the S, and saw more and more pictures and I started to squirm; you know the feeling, that first time you decide you want the S!!

I looked arround the internet like crazy for things about the S2000, found this site (didn't it used to be called something else?), called lots of close by dealerships. At that time(summer top down weather) the S was really going for big $$$ at most places, bigtime markups. I found one in Greer, SC for a little less than MSRP; at that time it was a steal. But I would have to trade my accord in and I knew I would lose my A$$ if I did, so I bailed out and have been wanting one every since.

I traded a 2002 civic for my S2000 and think I did okay. Actually I figured up what I had to have to do the deal before I went and they got within $100 of what I planned so I took the deal. Didn't really think they would do what I wanted but they did.

My car was on Ebay when I bought it, I didn't but through Ebay tho.

Anyway I'm just waiting on sunny pretty days now
