It's all about priorities man. I went through the same issue when I sold my CR over the winter. It was tough, but when it came down to it I wanted to get rid of the payments and I bought an AP1 4 days later with no regrets. Now I can track it and make modifications without the guilt of changing anything on the CR. That and having a softtop with the ability to go top down any time I want is amazing.

It just comes down to what you really want to do with your S2k. I hope you make the right choice and wish you the best!

The car is paid for so selling it was not due to finance reason. We have a 5 months daughter. We thought if we buy a convertible with a back seats we can take our daughter along. I am thinking between a SC 430 or G37. If anyone owned them before please chime in.

I think a car like the S2k is a little like large tower speakers in the living room, there are going to be a big percentage who do not appreciate the inherent psychic pleasure they provide. I am fortunate that my wife tolerates/appreciates both. That may explain why I am no longer married to my first wife.

I was in the same boat as you just last year! I bought an 03 sazuka blue in 09 wich the wife was totaly against. I dorve it for 3 years then decided to sell it due to the wife always naggy me about the car [ she didnt like the color ] ? Anyways, as soon as I sold it I had the s2000 blues, I wish i never did. Too make a long story short, I was back in a s2000 exactly 1 month from the time i sold my ap1, now driving an 04 silverstone with red/black interior with 26,000 kms, this one I will keep forever. The wife loves the silverstone. If you dont have too sell, then dont. I a good note, I sold my ap1 for the same price as I paid for it, three 3 years ago and my my ap2 with less kms for less money.

I wish my wife would try and tell me she didn't like the color of my car.

This. My lady always wants to push the car a little harder when we take it out on a date night.

OP - life is really short. Do what makes the most sense and explain it to the buyer if you change your mind. I won't sell mine, ever.

You made the decision, be a man and live with it!
After all, it is only a car and you need something different for your family.
Sorry about being blunt.

I have a G37 and an ap2. The G is fast and spacious and all but man oh man is it a gas guzzler.

IMO nothing will replace the s2k. It's a good solution to when you're having a bad day.
