I know this thread is old, but I ended up buying this car and repairing it, and I wanted to talk to meloman but his AIM name is always on idle, does anyone else know him etc?

 

out of curiosity, how much did you pay for this car? was it in the same condition as in the pics?

there must be some frame damage, no?

 

Owww thank goodness you're okay. BTW- this pic sort of looks like a Z4...

 

of course it was in the same condition, but someone took the left side headlight, there was no frame damage thats the reason I liked it, otherwise I would have stayed away from it, and the people earlier in the post who said it would never drive the same were wrong, i can take my hands off the wheel even on the fwy and it stays perfectly straight and it runs perfect............paid around 8 for it in that condition

 

Oh man! I'm real sorry. At lease no one was hurt. The car is a machine and can be replaced, but you can't.

 

The fact that your brother is still with us is quite a tribute to our little S. Good luck with whatever decision you make.

 

well it wasnt me or my brother lol it was the guy at the beginning of the thread, im jus the guy who bought this car at an auction then found it on here, it was a little freaky when i was digging through old posts then saw a picture and KNEW it was the car I bought....

 

Man, don't you guys even read, or do you just look at photos? This thread was revived because some guy ended up buying the wrecked car.

its coo its an honest mistake, people love their s2k's so naturally when they see something like this they tend not to look at dates or anything but to send their condolences.
