i am so stupid sometimes.
today, i dropped this girl off at school dorm, and as
i was coming out of the drive way, "scccccccccccratch!"
I ran over a curve, under the right side of my car.
i was literally in tears! i stopped my car under a street light,
got out, and before i actually looked at the right side of my car,
i closed my eyes, saying "please, not too deep... not too deep..."
i looked at it, and no scratch at all- thank god!
but i looked under, and it was the bottom part of the car that
paint and the plastic moldeing got stripped off.
so glad that it's not noticible, and not on the actuall paint
of the car. but still, i'm so clumzy and stupid sometimes!
i think i should get body kits- front spoiler and side skirts,
to hide the scratches on the bottom of my car.

...not to mention your headlight. But we've ALL done something, so you are all in good company. at least you dodnt create "self-imposed" door dings like I did.

........me too..............I was washing my pride and joy 3 days into ownership and a neighbor came over to admire / talk about the car. He asked about the engine and I told him about all the good stuff - including the fact that it is longitudinally mounted behind the front axle - this confused him, so I popped the bonnet (hood, to you good US folks) and lifted it up -
"graunch....thud..........f*%k..........."
the wipers were still up for washing.
Net result - 1/2" scratch down to bare metal at the top of the bonnet.
3 days old!!!!! I was beside myself - I could not belive I had been so stupid!
