Just to answer your question.. I just got my s2k, and gave up my chipped 2000 A4 1.8tqms...

GO s2k!!! it's a no brainer...

the TT is heavier, more expensive and slides just as much in foul weather (even with quattro)

but go S2k!!!!!!

i'm 23 and pay 187 for full coverage on my s2k and a 99 grand-am GT. But I'm married and we get all sorts of discounts for good records and multiple cars.

I want to say the residual is around 62%- pretty good number up there with 3 series BMWs and such. I briefly considered leasing when I decided to get an 02.

Thanks for the info. .62 is okay, not spectacular. They publish new numbers every month but to the best of my knowledge they aren't on the web anywhere eventhough sites like Edmund's must have access to them to calculate lease payments. Different lenders can publish different numbers too.

Currently , the 36 month residual is 67% of msrp. Why wouln't you lease a S2000? Insurance? I pay $96.00 a month 500 deductable Blair
