IloveS, where are you located?
And like negcamber posted, www.edmunds.com is probably your best bet on doing some pricing research. Its always good to start with knowledge!

do you plan your life in terms of the long run or short term?
if i were in your situation, i would sell the S.
1) you need to take care of your education first because later down the road, that education will buy back that S you love so much and a new house. you may loose the pleasure of driving the S but it will return and when it does, you will be happier then ever.
2) keep the S and you might run out of funds for school. no education=no job. you'll become desperate and work at jiffy lube just to be able to afford the car. you'll be happy that you own suck a sweet car but in the back of your mind you'll regret whats trully important; securing your future. working 10 hour days just to enjoy your ride every now and then is not very fun.
i hope my advice helps you make the right choice.

Bottom line is... if you can't afford it... sell it.
Got to get your priorities straight. There will be PLENTY of time for you to get what you want later in life. Right now.. do what you need to do.
Sell it for as much as you can. Depending on what you owe on it. Even if it's upsidedown, owing 2-3K is better than owing 30K.
JMO.

Thank you so much everyone. I've been thinking about my car days and nights since I quit my job ( I was an AutoCAD operator). I would have to talk to my parents about this problem and see what they think. Oh yeh. I live in NEW JERSEY, Morris County
