Default I am considering to let the S go!

Hello everyone,
I've been considering to let her go after 1 year of ownership. I am now senior college student and I have to quit my current job to spend all time on my senior projects and coops and stuff. So let's just say I can not longer afford it anymore. But after graduation, if I could find a good engineering job, I would deffenitely buy another one.
My car is 2005 MY, NFR, and has 7500 miles on it. This car has been my weekend car. I don't drive it much. It is pretty much brand new up to this point of time.
I don't know how much I would sell it for, so I 've decided to ask you guys opinions.
Thank you!

If I were you, I'd look up some prices in your area of what most MY05 S2000's are going for. Can't say your reason for selling it is a bad one, but be sure that it's the right decision. There's nothing worse than selling a car and wanting it back!

I don't know what to do now guys. I don't wanna tell my parents to temp take care of it for me cuz I don't wanna use their money. I don't work now unfortunately. This school year is so busy for me. I have unpaid intership, co-ops, and work projects to do. All the money that I have saved could keep the S for another year or so but the problem is I would need that money for the classes that I am going to take this summer. I am suffering so hard man

I was in your situation last year. I graduated with a degree in Aerospace. The job market when you graduate can be a tough mistress and being a broke college student is no picnic.

My car will be paid off in a few months (just in time for student loans to kick in). I had to make the same decision as you are now.

In the end my parents helped me out and I had to take out the painstaking student loan to get the funding I needed. If you get rid of the car and then buy another one you will lose money in the long run. Since you have an unpaid internship you are on a good road to getting a decent job right out of college, but I do not advise putting yourself in a bind where you are depending on something right away.

Summary: I paid the necessary price to keep my S. I couldn't stand being another one of those guys that looks back on the one that got away.

I feel you man almost every month I go through this...knowing how much easier it would be to get through pre-med and eventually med school if I just sold my car , so I wouldn't have to work full-time, but dammit I just can't let it go...geez took me almost a year to give up my celica GTS for the S2k.

keep it...especially if you're going to buy another one when you graduate. you'll lose quite a bit of money if you sell then buy again.
