humming from aem cai

Default humming from aem cai

does anyone get a humming sound coming from their aem cai, wondering what that noise is and if anything can be done about it....

nothing can be done about it. its a characteristic of the AEM CAI. and as peterpan noted - its 100% normal. you have a metal tube and air is being sucked up into it. there's not much you can do to prevent that unless you go with another CAI. I say, live w/it if you like the way the car responds with the AEM.

P.S. It only hums when at idle......so give it some gas and rev that sucker up.
