It definitely looks different! That is one crazy turbo manifold! You can barely see the downpipe! It looks like you would need a custom exhaust set up.

How about being the guinea pig?

yeah...i emailed the company and the guy told me that it makes about a 60-70 percent hp gain at stock psi. the AEM comes with a base tune. i'm gonna email him back and see if a custom exhaust is necessary. but ill let you guys know...and about me being the guinea pig?? most likely will be cause i read alot about the company and they have pretty good reviews. we'll have to wait and see.

is it beneficial to have the turbo on the front of the engine? i.e. wont need cutting of anything for a bigger turbo..

That looks like a great kit. Jump on it and let us know how it works out. I would assume it doesn't need a custom exhaust as it says it installs in 10 hours. Just make sure that your exhaust piping is 3". You would either need a new cat or test pipe for maximum gains.

Yeah that's right. I didn't stop to think that the DP could be designed to hook up to the midpipe to use a stock exhaust or any aftermarket one.

It really is a nice looking kit though, I can't wait to hear some feedback from the OP when and if they go this route!

that looks like it'll take forever to spool up since the turbo's so far from the exhaust manifold.

but you don't have to relocate the battery or oil filter, which is a plus.
