Default How to tell if this ECU is from a 2003 S2000

I have been looking for an ECU to use as a core to send to A-J for the N1 ECU and bought this online. Seller claims its out of an 03. He provided the VIN, so I am guessing its legit, but I have been ripped off on the internet before so I have lost a little faith in people (Losing 4000+ dollars will do it to you )

Any way to tell by the no's on the side

On a side note - How much are these worth? I didnt know 03 ECU's are in sort of high demand. I could have got a cheaper ECU than this. Dickson/Ben confirmed all I need to send them is an 00-03 ECU, it didnt matter which as long as it worked.

Thanks for any info!

I'm pretty sure the A02 in the serial # was for the 02-03 ecus and A01 was for 00-01. I researched it when I did the ecu swap in my MY00 S.

hmm it says ap1 and 2003. So I'm guessing it's a 03.

How much are you paying for this ECU? If 03 ECUs are in such high demand, I would like to know about it because the thieves might strike me next.

Definitely a MY03 ECU - the VIN confirms it. The 3 before the T (for Tochigi) means 2003.
