How to tell if car was tracked
At 50,000 miles, my brakes are going pretty bad. i've replaced the pads with axxis pads but didnt help. Next thing to do would be getting new rotors. Needing new rotors at 50,000 miles makes me curious as to how this car was treated in its younger days.
How would you be able to tell if the car was tracked or not??

If the car was tracked there is no way the rotors would last till 50,000. I have 33,000 miles on my car and I'm on my 4th set of front rotors...

Needing new rotors at 50,000 miles is no big deal, in fact it is almost sad the car was not driven harder so they could have worn out before then.

I'm on my third set of front rotors (still original rears) at 25,000 miles.
But this does bring up an interesting question. I track my car on average about once a month, and do an autocross every couple of weeks from March until October. Obviously, this is harder on a car than just being driven to work each day (which this car also does--it's a triple threat ), but is it statistically more likely to have a major failure than a car driven more gently? I think of more items as "wear items" than other folks perhaps, but I'm talking about, e.g., blowing the engine or other huge, otherwise unexpected, failure.
I change all the fluids quite regularly, with top-quality fluids, and I otherwise maintain the car very well.

Just don't misshift or drive into puddles if you have and AEM CAI and I think you'll be fine
