How to tell if car is Salvaged.

So it turns out my car is not salvaged. Basically I was dealing with the other persons insurance since I have liability and she jumped the gun and paid me out for the car before they did an inspection to salvage it and since I bought it back she never got a hold of the title. I would have felt bad if it was some how my fault but I did everything I was supposed to.
