How to remove scratches or scuff marks on the passenger door sill next to the s2000

When people get in and out of the car, their shoes make scratches and marking on the door sills, right next to the s2000 metal piece, anyone know how to remove the marks?

Hi Andre
I find just about anything works to remove scuff marks, pldege, a damp rag, etc. If you're getting scratches, then you should definitely not let anyone with pointy metal tipped shoes sit in your car.

The scratches are there from normal rubber shoes. They arent really scratches, but it seems the plastic rubs off the door sill, You basically dont see the shin of the door sill, its like a line where the shoes wears the plastic.

The plastic is very easily marked, and once there i think they stay. I plan to replace the door sills once they get too ugly, and in the meantime i try to make the scuff marks less visible by cleaning/using Plexus. Marks on the other panels are more troubling, i think some of those panel parts may be expensive to replace.

Every car I've ever owned I've immediately installed the 3M plastic (like stonegard, 'cept thicker) on the door sills where one would drag feet over to get in or out. Just make to clean with alcohol first or the 3M won't stick.
