GregStevens in the chatroom last night indicated the more you *wax* it, the better it looks. I have no idea if he was talking about his S2000, carrot, sword, or what

Anyway..... i personally only wax my car about 2 times per year.? am i lagging???

How often do you *wax* it? Girls can reply too.. i guess.

Ummm, yes, I was referring to my CAR.

And the more Zaino you put on, the deeper the shine. I put another coat on yesterday, in fact...

And yes, you are lagging, but this is nothing new. I'm sure your mom (and mom in law) has said this to you many times...

Premium waxes should be applied by layering. Let the first coat set for 24-48 hours then wax again. I use 3 coats....the second ones go on very quickly. So it takes about a week to really put a good coat of wax on. And yes it makes a huge difference......more so with black and red then others. Three coats of Pinnacle Souveron wax on a dark car has you looking to see if you can see the bottom of the black pool...it's really stunning.

For mine, one 2-applications of FinishFirstPolish a year is enough for me in addition with regular hand wash every other week.

Never!

(My car has a paint protection applied that is refreshed in one or two year intervals. You're not supposed to put any wax on that. It's not showroom shiny, but it's good enough for me. I got fed up with waxing many years ago...).

That would mean washing it first.

I've waxed mine with Zaino about 8 times since I bought it a year ago. I applied a couple of base coats last spring, then a few over the summer, a few in the fall, and I think 1 in the winter when the weather was nice. Last week I applied the 8th coat of Z2 and Z6 and......... WOW the car looks awesome. Oh, I wash it once a week and sometimes every other week (during the fall/winter).

Wax your car once a month or once a season if you're anal like me and like to keep your car looking beautiful all the time. If not, then you only need to wax it 1 or 2 times a year.
