On average... I hit VTEC at least once every 2 days.

I think I spent a solid 6 hours in vtec yesterday Love the mountain roads!

somewhere around 25 times a day.

drive it hard or drive a taurus. thats how i feel.

thing is the piston speeds on this car arn't any more than with a normal car. sure it feels weird to hit 9000 RPM but the stroke is so short that I don't think its too much more wear and tear on the engine in general.

Of course the valvetrain is another thing, but Honda does a good job engineering their cars and they have lots of experience with bike motors that make our cars look like diesels.

think of how often you hit vtec in a normal honda.. like 6 times a day.
