Maybe he doesn't care to hit vtec and drives...like a normal person.

But me I hit everytime I get on a ramp or merge onto the freeway.

If you would like to encourage people to drive their car to its full potential feel free. But if you would like to just be mean then you have been warned.

What in the actual f@#k.

My mind is literally blown.
Why don't you all buy camrys and call it quits

ateens4, do you understand you've owned an amazing car for over a month and you've never driven it?

Why do you have to hit the red line all the time? Most engines are loosing power some time before the red line, so why do it?

It certainly sounds a bit like a small penis syndrome to me.

I regularly use 3Rd, & lots of revs to pass slow traffic on the short straights in the country roads around here, but unless I'm passing a couple of cars, I make a point of changing up, & easing throttle, as I draw level with what ever I'm passing. There is absolutely no point in frightening granny trundling into town, by making a lot of noise suddenly beside her.

I am glad we don't have a bunch of young fools around here, blazing a trail of ill will for sports car drivers, with discourteous behaviour.

I do hope you manage to grow up some time soon.

You all lie.

we all hit redline when we turn our key to the "on" position.

Hah. Anyways,

realistically I don't redline much, I'm in vtec probably a couple of times a week since the rushour to and from work aggravates me and I always seem to be in a rush though I'm never late. (I arrive at work 30-45 minutes early every day.. haha).. I have only redlined maybe.. 3x since I owned this car in July of 2012, I once misshifted and bounced off the limiter for about 2 seconds.. ugh. (facepalm).

This is the only car I've ever bounced off the limiter in 10 years of driving (maybe partially due to the fact that some of my cars don't/didn't have a rev limiter ), because it pulls hard to the end without wheezing and choking like some other engines would. With that said, I'm in the upper reaches of the rev-counter maybe 0-3 times per tank of gas. Definitely more if I go on "spirited" drives, but unfortunately that isn't too often.

When I first upped my boost to 12 psi I hit the limiter accidentally a few times as it went up so damn quickly. I've gotten used to it so don't hit the limiter anymore unless I lose traction.

This.

It's also worth noting some people don't buy the car for all the power and/or cannot drive it safely. Let's encourage people to enjoy their car as they see fit and drive within their limits.

Everytime I drive it. AP1 Turbo going to 8.5-8.8 I would say. Hardly ever go off the limiter though.
