How much should I pay for a 2004 S2K?

An '05 recently sold on e-bay for I think $29,700. Admittedly, that is rare. Dealers are very happy to get $29,500 for brand new 'o4's, so don't go any higher than that. If you want it bad I would start at $28,500 and see how low you can get it for. $29,000 would probably be a good deal if you can get it.

You ought to be able to get under $29k for an '04, but honestly I think you'd be smarter to buy (especially if you aren't buying but are leasing) a 2005. You have already 'lost' about $4k in the long run on a 2004 car, brand new or not.

It actually came out to $28,688 including everything. The trade on my S2000 was actually just a lease turn in, I had a month left, so I had to roll that payment, but thats it.
