How much should I pay for a 2004 S2K?
hi--
i'm new to this forum and don't presently own an S2000... my wife drives an '04 Pilot courtesy of a friendly Honda dealer only a few minutes from our home...
i took her car in for service yesterday and was pleasantly surprised to see the car i had my eye on when purchasing hers several months ago still available -- a barely driven (35 miles) silver/black 2004 S2000... seems they've been unable to move it and told me it was likely to sit in the showroom over the next few months (i live in central illinois where it was a balmy 20 degrees today)...
i am sincerely interested in buying this car and they weren't shy about the "great deal" they could put together... i'd be interestted in knowing what the veterans on this list would consider a reasonable offer given these circumstances...
the car has a window sticker which lists the MSRP + destination charges (total = $33,260)... edmunds.com (for what it's worth) lists a "true marke value" for this car in my area at $30,971... should i deadpan an offer for 30K?
thanks for any suggestions...

I got my 2004 4 months ago for 29,200 it also has 35 or so miles on it so an offer of maybe 28k would be right to me, but remembers that to me and might not apply to you though......so make your own decision...

not a penny over invoice imo, .....I would recomend starting calling around to sales managers asking for 28,500 if they have any leftovers and price shop that offer and see what you can get
