Thumbs up How much HP gain from full I/H/E?

How much Horsepower can be gained from a full intake and exhaust.

let's use the following as an example-->>

INTAKE: J's Racing Tsuchinoko Intake
HEADER: Berk Technology S2000 header
EXHAUST: T1R 70R Sparrow exhaust

With and Without TESTPIPE?

I used this as an example because it seems to represent the best set-up for an s2000.

So again, what kind of HP gain am i looking at?

I have a 2007 Berlina 100% STOCK.

On the BERK TECHNOLOGY HEADER Thread an s2000 was dyno'ed with the exact setup but i dont know if he/she is a member. So i know someone knows the HP output possible.

THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!
(the intake seems over priced but this is mostly to see what kind of gains are possible)

I don't think the Sparrow gives you much of anything. Maybe a couple HP. If you had a 70mm single then the entire setup would give you 12-15 peak HP. Closer to 12 probably. With an AEM CAI, about 15. The J's intake will give a little better throttle response but no peak HP.

^lol for the cost of all of the parts you could save it and wait for the DBW EMS and just turbo it.

Berk header and quality single exhaust are worth the money IMO.

Only intake worth the money is AEM CAI that I am aware of at this point. If you have a hood with a cutout for the stock airbox then the CAI isn't worth it.

I would agree with this guess.

12-15 HP , sheesh that is low.

I expected at LEAST twice as much?!?!

so, 15 HP with INTAKE, HEADERS, EXHAUST W/ TESTPIPE even if you use the Top of the Line stuff, Damn.

its the same old song..

comes well tuned from the factory

there are other ways than FI... but they're expensive

cams, engine builds, individual throttle bodies...

cheapest big power gain is S/C

The JDM stuff is marginally better than stock, but basically all it does is increase the size of the tubing. This formula worked on previous Honda motors, but not on the F22C to a large degree. There are some gains, but they aren't dramatic.

Get a header from hytechexhaust.com, you will need to call to order. Guy's name is John. Tell him Jeremy referred you. You can ask him what makes his header different and grill him a bit. He actually designs the stuff himself so he know what he's talking about. The header will show you more gains than the exhaust, header and intake you are contemplating. Get a 70mm single if you can handle the noise to gain a bit more. If you want to go big get Hytech's cams, springs, retainers and related components. The cam set is $2,700. The header is $1,300.
