well mine is progressive and i'm 21 yrs old. there are 2 cars under my name 2002 BMW 745i and 2003 s2k. i'm paying $133 a month, and thats only liability. meaning the insurance will only cover the other party and not me. i have gotten alot of tickets, a few reckless driving, a few speeding, and a few minor fender bender accidents. i think i have around 8-10 points on my license.

how do you still have your license with 8-10 points? haha. finding out peoples insurance cost is pretty pointless, since its based on location too.

eh, just the s2k for me is 180 month with 500/500 deductibles. No idea why, geico offered me 100 a month for 50/50 deductibles, but screw saving money I guess

I'm not buying a car until this summer, but I started to get estimates to figure out how much I need to set aside. If anyone in NJ has better rates, please tell me so I can get a less awful plan.

Under my parents, hypothetical AP1
21, no tickets etc etc
estimated $3,000/yr (what we currently pay total for a Civic, Accord and Odyssey)

hm. full time student, work, honors, and my car is a monthly of 140 full coverage. i also received a ridiculous quote from geico haha, 104 a month or something like that?

EDIT: in addition, i live in austin, credit is not a basis for my rate, our policy has two drivers, i am included in discounts such as full time student with B average or better, honor student (college), clean driving record, and an alarm system is on the car.

in a later post i also mention this policy is under my mothers account, but i have been given quotes like 104 monthly (full coverage) from geico. she has a few points against her record from accidents and whatnot.

lol yep just around that. Same thing as you, honors, work, and also navy federal credit union. It was around 40-60 without comp/collision though. So spike, check geico, because I checked about 15 different cars and nothing really seemed to matter, could be a 04 ford crown victoria, or a 95 dodge viper. Everything is around 100 month for me from them.

would be interesting to see how quickly they will total a theft titled S2000 though...they are cheap but it seems to come with a cost for most things in life....but ya, i was checking out sti's to GTO's and of course my s2000....pretty consistent with geico....which, as i mentioned, kinda makes me scratch my head...
