I've never done it before but here is my understand on how to do it.

Use a hair dryer to get the area good and warm.

Use dental floss to "saw" between the emblem and body panel

Use goo-gone to remove any left over adhesive.

You mean like this




The front bumper holes must be filled wit ABS liquid plastic, and the rear holes need to be filled in be means of welding the holes up.

Yes, just like that. I know there are holes for the H emblem, so how do I shave it properly to have that smooth looks? How much does it cost? I know for S2000 emblem, it's just adhesive, so I am going to take it out as well...

around $300.00 of so because they do have to paint the area and blend in the paint

I saw darknight's car and had to get mine done

why didn't you get the plate holes filled in too?

the new owner would have the option of adding a frt plate - plus a frt plate is required by law in my state

A front plate is required in my state too.

I had the front done when I had the hood painted. I spent about $650 for all the body work and paint.

Fortuantely, I didnt have to shave the front end because there ar eno holes in my new front bumper....


but i did get the rear shaved....and its not cheap....



btw...Steve, saw your car the other week. dave who bought it is a local. looks great! he even tried to sell me the black chrome badge I had originally sold you!
