with shedrivesit... don't if you think it fine, if you wanna say it, say it to your friends, but don't bash the guys car on a forum. i'm sure he's pretty proud of his s2000 just like yours, and no one needs to piss on that on some forum. do your s2000 how you want and let him enjoy his how he wants

Just bought mine 7 days ago. I paid invoice with 4.75 APR from Honda. If I didn't have the trade-in, I would have paid less than invoice for the car.

I'm pissed (not really ) because it's at the damn shop getting tints, I don't feel safe without it in my garage

I have a question to the last few posters if they are still around. When you say things like "paid invoice", "paid $200 below invoice", etc - do you mean invoice invoice ( $29,820 ) or invoice + destination ( $30,335 )?

Did anyone buy any new '05 S2000's anywhere near invoice recently in Southern CA? I've checked a couple of dealers in San Diego today, one of them was out of stock and said that he wasn't going to get any '05's any more because '06's will come in "in a couple of weeks" ( could be BS ), another one had only 2 whites in stock and the sticker price was $2000 above MSRP due to an "availability adjustment". I am trying to choose between an '05 S2000 and '06 MX-5, i might go with an S2000 if I can buy one for $30k + tax, but no way I am going to pay full MSRP...

Well I think everyone is gonna hate me. I paid $25,400 OTD for MY03 new. It was a left over (bought in the winter). I went back and forth for a week on the price and finally got a contract faxed to me where the dealership had to sell it to me for the price listed above. Next day I went into the dealership and was hasseled by the sales manager, he did not agree to sell it for that price. Due to legal contract he had to. Ends up I got the car for the price listed and the sales lady was fired the same day. Apparently she didn't realize which car she was selling. She had only been there one month.

See it's posts like this that make me want to not buy it now and wait until winter gets here.

The lowest I've be able to negotiate right now is $ 24k for a 2004 with about 10k miles and I got that offer ONCE. The next closest was $25k.

I'm thinking these deals will be a lot easier to find on the 04's soon and might even be able to snatch a left over 2005 for not much more.

I'm way to indecisive lol.
