How much cheaper would I get an S2k at "dealer only" auction ?
Hello everyone, My first post.
So I have been scanning this forum for a while and I am ready to buy a s2000.
So here's the thing.
I am going to get my used car dealer license in a few weeks. This is just for hobby purposes there are just too many cars out there that I want to drive. with this license I figure I can buy them cheaper keep em /drive em for a while and then sell them on. I also want to have the dealer license plate and possibly sell a car here and there for profit I'm not in it to make huge profits more for the experience of the cars.
I really want a s2000 above and beyond any other car..
Should I just wait until I get the license and get one cheaper at a dealer only auction?
or is there not much of an price drop on s2000's at theses kinds of auctions.
Does anyone on here have experience with these auctions have you got a dealer license?
If there isn't a real significant price difference on these particular cars (s2000) I might just buy one now (I have my eye on one)
Thanks in advance

I've been to a few dealer auction and yet to see an s2000.
dealer auction many time are cars the dealer can't sell or having hard time selling. s2000 is not a car dealer are having hard time selling.
and if there is one, dealers will fight for it.

I see s2000's very frequently on autotrader that have been purchased via auction and the majority of them have a clean carfax. One I'm looking at now has a clean carfax, one owner, and hasn't moved from the dealer since November. I just hope it's still there in August!

Awe man I was sure there would be plenty of them at the auctions round here. There are so many s2000 on the streets round these parts. (San Fran, bay area, nor cal).
Anyone on here have dealer license? and goes to these auctions regularly?
Cheers
