Default How much better with tranny feel at 10K miles?

I've got the 2nd/3rd gear notchiness that so many complain about in my MY02 with 4500 miles. Some days, it's not there at all, and I love the car all that much more. Some days, it's there and annoying.

I could begin to nag Honda about it now, and end up better somewhat better off, based on what people say, but at the risk of the service guys mucking with a clutch/tranny they don't see enough of to really do justice to.

If I delay, the dreaded "you fried it" argument will inevitably be thrown at me by AHM.

So, the real question -- which owners of completely stock, modestly driven cars can help me with -- is: how much better, if at all, was the notchiness by 10K miles.

10K miles is about my limit for tolerance. If it's still there then, I will want Honda to fix it for sure.

Thanks.

Time won't solve the problem.

It gets significantly better around 8K to 10K miles.
