TTSUPRA,
I am sooooooo sorry you and the S2000 did not get along.
Unfortunately, the folks on this thread are right. It's a good news bad news story. If you had a more conventional, more popular car, you would be SOL by a lot of $$$. So the good news is that RELATIVELY, you're not out a lot of money (what's a lot? right?). The bad news is that you are sure to lose some ($1-3K is a safe bet).
I would list it at AutoTrader for $1K below MSRP (i.e. $31,500) and hope for the best (i.e. be prepared to go down as much as $29,500). Expecting more would only cause it to sit in your garage nagging at you. I think realistically the only way you can move it near that price is if you had someone who is hell bent on getting a S2000 like NOW. Not sure if the color is going to work for you or against you in NJ.
I'm sorry again that you two didn't jive. Hey, stranger things have happened, Dennis Rodman and Carmen Electra were married for less than 24 hours, right?

Just out of curisousity... what is it about the handling you don't like? That's the first time I've ever heard anyone speak about the handling... brakes... or tranny in a negative manner.
