Waited until both my kids (23 YO son and 20 YO daughter) were in college and out of the house before I got my S.

But for me the car has been a stress release, my daily commute, and weekend are filled with non-work related activities (car stuff). So for a workaholic it has help alot. On the plus side I have met many new friends becasue of the car that I am sure will stay long after the car is gone.
Same here, The only thing I don't like, is that it sometimes attracts more attention than I care for.

I am just going to say one thing and I don't know your situation, but it's something to think about. Sometimes when someone is accusing someone else of something and paranoid about this certain behavior it's because they are doing the same thing.

I'm not saying that is what is going one, but you never know.

You are right, it probably is not the case. But, it very well could make her not talk about it anymore!

where in my post did i lead you to think i talk about my car alot? i remember saying that i drive it to work and to pick up my child, i also mentioned i had just bought her a new car, 3 weeks ago to be exact. i would say the attention part may go both ways but in no way is she lacking attention from me, matter of fact i've washed and detailed her mustang three times since she got it, i believe the honda has been washed once.

I have two sons, one 24 the other about to turn 21. My wife is incredibly generous and tolerant with the time I give the car, events, and other S2000 things.

But she refuses to ride with me, so I usually go it alone. The G forces, she says, are too much for her.

Wow...chill out. Seriously. I 'had a different name' because I'm not HI SPEEDR, just making reference to the somewhat of a put down that you directed at him.
