How many of you guys used to own an S2k, but...
...don't anymore? I had an '01 for 2 years, sold it to buy a bigger house, now I'm settling for a modest house and have a deposit on a new Lotus Elise.
Shortly after getting my S2K I found this board, and it's been the best source of entertainment/information I could have ever found on the Net. I went to the original S2K-Days in Asheville NC and drove The Dragon...man, what a fun weekend. I had dreams of Laguna Seca, but I'm in Missouri so it didn't work out.
Anyway, I sure miss the ole girl, who else is S2K-less now?

I sold my S2000 6 months ago to get an M3. I still hang around here because this is one of the best car forums in terms of entertainment, friendly people and knowledge.
An Elise with its extremely low weight should be a great car to drive at the track.

I sold my 2001 after a year and 10K pleasure filled miles because I wanted the glass window of the '02. It took a few months for me to get my '02 (as I wanted a specific color, still in the plastic, not driven by anyone else, and wasn't willing to pay over MSRP). Those were a long few months.
I have thought on numerous occassions of selling the car for something more practical (its our weekend/date car but it really is a pleasure toy) and just can't do it. Days like today (its freaking Feb. and 70 deg. without a cloud in the sky), rowing the car through the gears just sinks in the feeling that I'd regret selling the car.

I didn't sell mine, I wrecked it. I'll know if it's totaled at the beginning of this week. I hope it is because it will never be the same. I'm actually thinking of getting a Z. Or maybe a WRX...I don't know.
