It's all a matter of taste. I suspect that among hobbyists in the years to come we'll see an interest in this color. Because it's a spectacular color? Maybe. Because it adds one more element of rarity to an already semi-rare car? I think so.
Personally, I looked at one and got close but couldn't pull the trigger on it. I couldn't live with an orange convertible 2-seater because it's just beyond the level of flashiness that I'm comfortable with.

Yep yep on the flashy. I took one look at my yellow, and bought it =) (of course, i was planning on buying it had it been red/black/yellow cause of the price) But yellow was really pretty in person. Is the imola metallic too?
Imola has been available everywhere except North America since the beginning with the exception of Canada in 2007.
It is one of what Honda calls "Premium Colors" of which we get none. Included in that group also is Pearl White, Lime Green Metallic, Deep Burgundy Metallic, and Imola Orange Metallic.
Notable others we never got are: Monte Carlo Blue, Monza Red, Royal Navy Blue.
We also dont get moonrock . Even if they had offered Imola I dont think I would have purchased it, but if they had offered moonrock I bet silverstone wouldn't be the most common color S
