I have had the opposite problem. I got into a Z06 Corvette for a test drive. I turned the key to "on" and went looking to the left for the start button (there is none. ) Unfortunatly, I went a LITTLE past on, and the car cranked a little bit and the starter actually ground a little. Oops!

Ok now that we know about the SECRET, tell me more. I had some friends ask if you can push it while the car is already started, so I did just to see, it didn't do anything...but then I was showing my dad and either it was because the clutch was in or it was just too soon it ingaged the starter with it running!

So what is this secret, I haven't looked in my owners manual yet to see if they explain it. Does it stop responding to being pushed after a certain amount of time, or does it always ingage the starter while the clutch is depressed?

First, the secret gas cap....Now, the secret start button. What next? The secret compartment?
