I have 29700+ on my original front tires, and will replace them this weekend, if I have time.

I have 15,525 on all four, and the trends (both front and back) are in great shape. . . That said, in my 2.5 years of ownership virtually all of my miles are either easy "around town" miles or highway miles, not too much hard cornering. . .

still rollin on my 1st set of front tires @ 25,459miles, but they would last longer if I would of have the card alined after I droped my ride, its just the inside of the tires that are worn.

I've been shopping for tires today and yesterday, trying to decide which ones to get.

Decided on Potenza RE750s. I have 30,800 miles on the car and will be putting on my 4th set of rear tires, and my 3rd set of fronts. Fronts are averaging at 16,000 miles. First two rears got about 12,000 miles but the last set only has 6,000 miles.

Smoked 'em ey? I've never noticed that happening. I know why mine wear out faster. I love getting on the freeway going from first to second to 70mph, as fast as she will. It's my little thrill.

I got over 49,000 on my fronts before my second set of rears wore out and I got 4 new ones. There was a few more thousand left even then.

Did you ever swap your front tires from one side to the other? By that, I meaning having the tires unmounted then remounted on the other rim (so as to make what was the inside of the tire now the outside of the tire). I just put new rear tires on (at 10,800 miles) and am now wondering if I need to do this swap on the front tires to make them last longer -- since I've heard they wear faster on the inside.

I finally bought a new set of tires. The fronts I had were original with 34,242mi on them and looked like slicks. I bought the Yokohama AVS ES100's. They are definately not S02's in the grip dept. They seem to be a little mushy (more sidewall flex perhaps). They are alot quieter, but not while cornering. I have had them for about 500 miles so far and they're getting stickier.
