I got about 250-ish miles out of my last tank.

I got 100 mi out of my last tank bone stock.



I was, however, at the track. Why so many posts about fuel mileage on the S2000? Drive the car, put gas in it, drive it more. Repeat as needed. If you are that concerned about mileage, get a Prius.

 

Bone stock AP1

260-270 miles with mixed 50/50 city highway. I usually have one or two blasts up with 9000 grand per tank under normal conditions.

200-225 miles when I am feeling racy.

300+ with pure highway miles (80mph)

I've made it over 320 a few times but the engine was stalling out everywhere...I don't recommend that to anyone. I had it choke out in the middle of a super busy intersection in morning rush hour traffic here in Charlottesville. Had to flag people by and then miraculously I got it restarted... It took me a while to realize that the gas light coming on means you need gas NOW in this car.

 

2.2L, I/H/E (So NA), stock AP2 gears, driving style is moderate to aggressive.

I get on average ~250 miles to the tank (but I rarely let it go down to empty, so 250 miles to probably 9-10 gallons of gas), less if I'm doing AutoXing or S2ki cruises, more if I'm doing highway driving (which is rare for my S2000 since its not a daily driver).

I ran down to the gas light the other day ... 0 bars on the fuel light (scary!), and drove an additional ~20 miles and I still had almost 2 gallons left in the tank (filled up 11 gallons and then some) ... @ ~24mpg, I could have gone back to my friend's house and home again and still had enough gas left to get the car to the gas station down the road.

usually 210miles. usually drive like i stole it.

even with gas concerned driving manner, you would save only about 6 dollars maximum per tank. i would just not drink coffee today and have fun.

i rather pay extra and get most out of it. or i'll just get civic and drive crap out of it.

 

263.8 miles so far gas light just came on when I pulled in the driveway, I will chime in tomorrow on my progress ....Stand by....

'O' ya 2002 API with 21,000 miles for the most part stock...Intake, Header. test pipe single exhaust, light VAFCII tuning, you know stock

 

I usually get about 30mpg with a range of 330 ish miles. That is mostly highway around 80 with a few quick bursts to 8 or 9000.

driving style is fairly aggressive. i usually hit 9 grand at least once or twice every day. sometimes much more than that. lol i also do about 60% city driving and 40% highway.

 

I went another 40+ miles before I got gas. It took 11.4 gal. 308 miles= 27 mpg
Not bad, before I had the VAFC tuned I got 30+ mpg
This was in town driving and some hwy. as well as a bit of Vtech
