How many miles do you have on your S2K?

I received my car on Feb 1, 2000 and have over 17,000 miles on it already. I didn't buy it to look at; I didn't buy it to sell to a collector in two years; I didn't buy it to pose (although you end up doing some of this anyway with all of the attention you get); I bought it to drive a world class road car and that is what I am doing.
The driving has been mostly top down but as it gets into winter the top will go up on days where the temperature is below about 45 degrees. I find it uncomfortable top down at colder temps than that.
I have had no problems with the car at all with two exceptions. One, the paint job seems to chip a bit easier than I would have expected. Two, I have had the 1-2 grind a few times after some high speed operation.
Finally, I generally keep my vehicles for a long time (well over 100,000 miles) and I don't think that this one will be an exception.

Got my S2000 on 11/23/1999 and it has about 9300 miles. Check the weather every day and if there is a chance of precipitation, then it stays in the garage, hence the low mileage. Have kept every car that I have ever owned until it could no longer be driven. Have even kept non-repairable cars for several years before I finally had them towed away. Expect that I will do the same with my S2000. My 1986 Celica, which gets driven every day, now has 170,000 miles. If the S2000 does not do at least that well, then I will be disappointed.

Got mine around June 10th. Now have about 3,500 miles on it. I don't drive it in bad weather. I have a 1987 Volvo 760 with 96,000
miles on it that runs great. It's my "all weather" car. My sig other drives my, well it was mine, Dodge Durango. That's my snow days
truck.
