Default How many launch there cars?

Just wondering how often everyone launches their S? I've launched it a couple times at the auto-x and dragstrips, nothing excessive like once or twice every week.

I normally launch between 5500-6,000 rpms. I once launched at 3,000 rpm and bogged like crazy (noobie at the dragstrip)

Anyone here launch consistently and have no problems with the differential? I realize the right amount of wheelspin insures less strain to the drivetrain.

I'm planning on having the differential fluid checked, I'm real skeptical about launching the car again after seeing so many threads about broken diffs.

I've lauched on my stock diff 20+ times now with antilag set at 5k rpm and 5psi of boost from a t60-1...no broken diff yet (fingers crossed)

Did a few launches on my stock diff.
It was FUN.
Dropped the clutch at 6 / 6.5 k revs.
The tires weren't that good (no S-02's!)
Lots of wheelspin, also some from 1st to 2nd

Now with my 4.57 Comptech diff AND S-02's... world of difference.
Launched the other day.. and it felt like "a kick in the back"

Those S-02's have a lot of grip!
Second time even better.

But I don't make a habbit of launching.
With a Comptech diff you should have no problem.
Extra bearing cap & stronger bolts

3 seasons of autocross, 180+ launches with R-compounds, no problems yet.

I do have a spare diff and axles in the garage just in case.

No launches, so no diff problems.

Probably over 250 or more drag launches with R-comps and I've only broken a driver side inner CV joint. The car has 79k miles and has been auto-xed religously since 5 days after I bought it with 15k on the odo.
