200rwhp is easy.....you're already there.
It seems like the S2000 generally dyno's higher as the mileage progress.
My dyno, stock with 15,000 miles:

Gears don't increase HP. I made 213.8rwhp on my AP1 with just intake/exhaust. 230 is much harder to hit. Don't let these Ap2 owners annoy u, they're just upset that they're car is depreciating 6 times as fast as your Ap1 is.
sorry i had to laugh when i saw this, no offense but i think ap1 owners over-value their s2000's and thats why the prices are still high (not trying to start ap1 vs ap2 war here)

So the 02-03 ecu will make a couple extra HP? So swaping one into my 01 is a good idea?

Yes I realize that but there isn't much he can do to increase the excitement factor except for going FI. The guy is already on a budget because his girl is so against him spending money on a car. I suggested the gears because of the WOW factor that so many owners have reported.

I hit 212whp with just a header and test pipe and a tune on my 01.

I should be around 217-220 now with a single exhaust. Just need to get it on the dyno and re-tune it.

YOU ARE ALREADY THERE . The car has 200 whp or close to it stock.

I would recommend not modding the car for a while, take time to get used to the car and appreciate it. It is a much different beast than your wrx.

Gears increase thrust rather than power, and are without a doubt the biggest bang for the buck.
