I hit 212whp with just a header and test pipe and a tune on my 01.
I should be around 217-220 now with a single exhaust. Just need to get it on the dyno and re-tune it.

. The car has 200 whp or close to it stock. I would recommend not modding the car for a while, take time to get used to the car and appreciate it. It is a much different beast than your wrx.

Gears increase thrust rather than power, and are without a doubt the biggest bang for the buck.
