How long will you keep your S2000
#62
I am a new S owner. I can't think of anything other than a late 90's C5 Corvette that I'd rather have for the same money....and I already made the decision of what to buy when I test drove an S for the first time.
Luckily, I have a daily driver I like, so driving the S is a treat on a sunny day or a weekend.
I plan to keep this guy for as many years as I can. I change daily drivers every 2-3 years, but the S, as a garage queen, will stay for uch longer.

I have an My05 right now and I will probably trade it in for an 09 in a few years to keep my S new and fresh. I will definitely have an S2000 in my garage for sure forever. I will probably completely rebuild the engine and turbocharge it once the original engine has over 100K

I plan on keeping mine for the rest of my life. I have already made plans with my g/f to keep this S2000 as our first car when she and I are married, which won't be any time soon because we have school to get through, but eh... It can happen in three or four years from now.
After this S2000 is paid off, I am thinking about buying whatever new S2000 comes out in the next four years.

Ever since the S2000 was introduced, I've fallen in love with it. Fast forward 6 years later, I was finally able to get one myself (MY02 Sebring Silver with 14K miles when I got it). It's hard to say how long I want to keep it, but S2000 definitely holds a very special place in my heart...
I would only consider letting it go if I upgrade to the following cars:
- Lotus Elise SC
- BMW M3 (E92)
- Nissan Skyline GT-R
- Ferrari F430
