Drove from Poway (SD) to Anza Borrego and back through the mountains (The roads I took would make you all jealous ) All in all about 5 hour trip and I felt fine at the end.

hunghid,

I recommend a lumbar pillow. Works wonders for me for long trips. There's something about my lower back shape that doesn't quite like the convex seat back bottom. Besides that, the seats are wonderfully supportive.

besides the lumbar i agree the seats are great. i think i must have poor posture or something of that nature. When i'm sub 180 i'm fine, but if i jump back up to 200 pounds the seats give you that feeling in your lower back that won't go away with squirming

I've driven SanDiego to SanFrancisco several times. I also highly recommend a lumbar pillow and a very small suitcase. Other than that......my S tore up the GrapeVine. ***note: StoneTemplePilots through the mountains might cause excessive speed...oh wait! you've got a S!***

1000Km's in 13 hours straight with a stop for an egg and bacon roll. Not a problem.

My longest trip, in one sitting, has been 2500 miles (San Fransisco - Toledo). I was comfortable the entire time. Although I have had the car for a year and a half so the seat (mine and the car's) have molded to fit, and I have found the best position for me. Which on a long trip I change slightly every now and then.

BTW I am 5' 9" and 170#

Although during the first long trip in the new car, I had a hard time straightening back at the end.
