How is long trip comfort in an S2000? What's the longest trip u did?
I'd like to be able to have a sports car that I could drive 300 - 400 miles a day and be fairly comfortable. Can an S2K do it?

Approx 480 miles. Drove to VA and back to drop off my wife the first weekend I got the car. I had zero comfort issues - but I'm a bit of a runt 5ft 8 1/2 and 158 lbs. The interior feels like it was built for me so I could drive twice that distance. Even the noise wasn't a big issue-my other car turns quite a few RPM in 5th at 80.

I noticed the top was not lined, is there after market liners available?

I put over 2000 miles on my car the first 5 days I had it with most of those highway miles. This car fits me like a glove so I was very comfortable. I don't think it really needs a liner for the top, but I haven't riden in one that has one so it may help some. I could definitely name many cars that I would rather take on long highway drives, but for a roadster the S2000 isn't too bad.

Redhawk,
Are you talking about this kind of high mileage on a regular basis, or are you just talking about just a trip for a few days.
If you were planning to use the S2000 this way regularly, I'd have to warn you that it's really lacking in certain amenities that I think would get annoying to a monster road warrior.
I mean, it's loud, it's tight for space, and it's not particularly forgiving for questionable road surfaces.
That's just my opinion... If I were doing that kind of mileage, I wouldn't consider an S. For a trip though; hell yeah! The seats are great (with perhaps an extra lumbar pillow), and even though the cupholder gets in the way, at least you've got one!

From here to Vegas, about 3 1/2 hours going about 90mph the whole way. Top down and could hear a damn thing when I got to Vegas.
Kinda fun except for hardly being able to see throug layers of dead bug guts splatter onto the damn flat windsheild.
